For the last day of spring break we took a family day trip down to the zoo in Tucson. It is smaller than the Phoenix Zoo, but a lot cheaper (a lot!!) and you are closer to the animals. The kids all got to feed a giraffe, and there was some hands on activities, and a little water area. This is why Lauren's hair looks wet in the picture. The kids had fun playing in the water.
After the zoo, we went out to lunch, and then headed back home. It was a good day, and a good way to end spring break. The only downer was that I had to drive back home so that Nate could study for a final. I wanted to read a book I was in the middle of.
