Dax

We have bad luck with dogs.  I sometimes feel bad that we keep getting more, but the kids love them and I like the security.  A few weeks before Jaden was leaving, I had the thought that on nights when Nate was working I would be alone with small kids.  I told Nate that I wanted to get another big dog, since Jinx had run away or been taken over the summer.  The day after Jaden left, Nate went and got a 6 month old black lab puppy.  After much debate about the name we decided on Dax.  Payton wanted Dash, I wanted Max, and Nate wanted Shadow.  Dax was a name that we could all agree on.  Lets hope we have better luck with this dog and that he is still around when Jaden gets home so Jaden can meet him.
