tie-dye shirts

Every summer, I try to keep the kids busy with different activities each day of the week.  One of the days is a craft day where we make some kind of craft.  This week, we did tie-dye shirts.  I have never done one before, so it was new to all of us.  Even Payton, who never wants to do anything I am doing with the younger kids, wanted a shirt.  I had to drive back to the store to buy a white shirt for her to participate.

It's a 2 day process, so the first day we put the dye in, and let them sit in the bags overnight.  The next day we washed/dried them and the kids modeled them for me.  Cute huh?
