Father's Day was the day after Payton and I got home from girls camp. When I asked Nate what he wanted to do for his special day, he said he wanted to visit his dad's grave. I thought that was really sweet. While we were there, Nate asked the kids what their favorite memories of Grandad were. The things they remember made me smile. Games that he would play with them. A time that Jaden fell into the pool when he was little, and Grandad jumped in fully clothed to get him.
The cemetery was pretty busy that day. I'm glad to see other people visiting loved ones also.
