We missed the first performance that they did, but we heard it going on, and Dallin knew that he wanted to do it so bad! So we made sure to get there early so that Dallin and Lauren could go and get good seats in the waiting area to be chosen. Luckily they were both chosen!!
They got to go up on stage, and learn the moves to fight Darth Vader, and Darth Maul. Then one by one they got to fight either Darth Vader, or Darth Maul.
Lauren was up on stage fighting Darth Vader, and Dallin was down on the ground fighting Darth Maul. We missed most of Dallin's fighting, and only got the tail end of it. When it was Lauren's turn, she couldn't get her lightsaber to open, so the Jedi that was instructing her had to trade with her, so she could fight Darth Vader.
At the end, they got certificates that said they had passed Jedi Academy Training. This was the highlight of Dallin's Disneyland day. He was so happy to get to do this, and he thought he was so cool. He talked about it for hours.
