Since we have a zoo memebership for our family for a year, we thought that October break would be a good time to take advatage of it. The weather was a little warm, but not too bad. The kids had fun.
Jaden wanted to man the camera, so I told him he could only take pictures if there were kids in front of animals. I didn't want him going crazy and getting a lot of pictures of animals, and no kids. If you look closely, you can see the cheetah laying in the shade on the little hill behind the kids.
After the zoo, we went to McDonalds for lunch, and the kids got to play some more. This was a good day, and a good way to start off the break. Some other things we did for October break were have a picnic at the park with friends, go to a dollar movie...we saw Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, and we had a campout in the family room and made mini smores with teddy grahms, mini marshmallows and little squares of Hershey bar. The kids had a good break, and school started much to soon.
