Ana's dad had 8 Sea World tickets that expired at the end of the year. There was no time for them to go, so Ana asked if we wanted the tickets. The kids really like Sea World, so we were excited to get the tickets and plan a time to go. We had to wait till Nate was done with school, there were no more soccer games, and no finals that anyone would miss. It turned out that the best time to go was in the middle of Dec, the 15th and 16th. We had to hurry back though because Payton had a math final on the 17th. It was a very quick trip, with us getting home at 3 am on the 17th.
We of course had to sit in the soak zone for every show. By the end of the day, Dallin was so cold, he walked around with a towel wrapped around him. He got the most wet, and didn't wear a waterproof jacket.
There is a place where you can go and see the tank the whales swim in up close. These whales swam right up and watched the kids. In the picture the whales don't look that big, but in real life they are huge!! It was cool to get to see them this close up. (notice Dallin in his towel)
