It got pushed back a month, but it finally happened! In January Lauren was baptised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was so excited! It was a big day for her. She got a beautiful dress from her aunt Megan (thanks to Megan's sister-thank you!!). I should have taken a picture of Lauren in the dress. She looked like a princess! We were so happy that our families could make it.
I asked Lauren what she wanted to eat at the luncheon, and she chose to have the same stuff that
Darien (her cousin) had at his baptism. So we had Subway platters, cookies, chips, donuts, and Lola brought fried rice. It was yummy and fun to have everyone together.
