The kids were so excited to get to play at the beach. The last time we were there it was Dec. and too cold to really play. (although they all still got wet!) This time we came prepared with swim suits and flip flops and towels.

The weather was so nice. The water was a bit too cold for me(I am a wimp), so I got to keep an eye on everyone and take pictures. The top picture is Landon buried in the sand. The picture under him is Lauren and Dallin taking their turns. As the sun started to go down, it got colder, and being buried in the sand kept them warm. They loved it, and needed help to get out.

Jaden's favorite thing to do was go way out into the water and body surf back in. Only Nate, Jaden and Payton tried this. The other kids stayed pretty close to the shore.

It looks like Nate is dragging Dallin further out, but Dallin wanted to go out, and the waves were too strong for him. He needed Nate's help to get past them.

We played for a few hours. Nate found sand crabs that amazed the kids. That is what Lauren is doing, looking for crabs. After the sun started to set, the kids were done with the water. We went up to the pier and looked through the shops, letting the kids each pick a little souvenir. Then we went to the end of the pier and watched boats for a little while. The kids were pretty worn out that night from their beach adventure. It was a good thing that they wanted to go to bed early because the next day we were getting up early to head out to Disneyland.
