This year, Lauren's actual birthday was on a Monday, and Nate was working, so we celebrated her big day the Saturday before her birthday. Money is tight, but we managed to have a good time still. She got a few presents, and had a treasure hunt with
goodie bags full of candy. She even got a small Cinderella birthday cake, and she picked to eat out at In-N-Out Burger.
Lauren is such a sweetheart. She is very
concerned about hurting others feelings, and she always wants everyone to be happy. She is super lovable and always wants to hug me, and kiss me and sit on my lap. I get to tuck her in every night, and she always gives me a big hug. She has some anxiety issues, where she is always worrying about things at school, but that is part of her charm.
