A few weeks after our family hike in the San Tan Mountains, we went on a hike with Jason and Rachelle and their kids in Usery Pass. This hike was about as long, but even more steep.
The older kids took off and were way ahead. They found this little alcove to sit and wait for the old people to catch up to them.
When we got to the top we found a nice spot to sit and eat the picnic lunch that we had brought. After hiking and sweating so much, it was really chilly to sit and eat. We all put our jackets on.
